You're All Gonna Hate Me

Well, I just saw Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith. And, against just about the entire populus of the big blue and green ball called Earth, I didn't really like it. Now, I didn't have as much of a hate for it as say Amanda, my roommate, but it wasn't fantastic. It certainly didn't live up to the hype that I've been told by all my friends and coworkers who have seen it.

*SPOILER ALERT* (I'll let ya know when the spoiler is done)

I mean, I nearly burst into laughter at the end when Darth looks up to the sky with his arms outstretched and screams "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!" I'm not sure if there's an actor alive who could make that reaction seem genuine.

Next was Princess/Queen/Senator/Padme Amidalla. She was so bloody emotional. Now, I know, she was pregnant. Hormone's running wild, she should be emotional. I get that. But this is a woman who ran a planet. And in this, her judgement and general sense seemed to be lacking.

I was extremely disappointed in the Jedi. With the exceptions of Mace Windu, Obi-Wan, and Yoda, they were all killed with ease. THESE ARE FUCKING JEDI!!! Mace did well. Obviously, Yoda and "Ben" don't die, but the rest were slain without the slightest attempt to defend themselves. Actually, not true. The first jedi they show get murdered actually put up a fight and even took out a couple of the soldiers. But, Pope Sidious (sorry, he resembles the new Pope...a lot) took out three jedi masters, JED-I MAS-TERS!, like they were nothing. then had a battle with Mace Windu. Now, I'm not doubting the ability of Mace Windu. But, for a guy to take out 3 jedi masters literally in less than ten seconds, is just wrong to me. The lack of defense from the jedi pro'ly pissed me off more than anything.

*SPOILER FINISHED*

So yeah, I thought it was better than the first one, better than the second one, but still so utterly far away from the original three. So, if you feel the need to, then bitch at me on my comments section which is located at the bottom of the page. (I really need to fix that so it's under every new post) But, I was just taking my God-given right to bitch about a movie over the internet. (HA! take THAT MoviePoopShoot.com!)

It's my Birthday! Woo-bloody-hoo

Yes, today, May 27, is my 26 birthday. Oh, and pay no attention to the cynical "woo-bloody-hoo" part of the title. I am actually quite happy. I hung out with two of my closest friends Cannibal Cirk and Ryan Covey (Co-V) Both of whom got me hammered. (not that it's a hard thing to do) And a special thank you goes out to Christina who was nice enought to not get drunk and got both me and my car home safely. So, today I'm gonna hang with my 'roomies' Amanda and Tristen. Might catch that Star Wars movie that the kids today are buzzing about. Must be good.

And, as a side note for anyone who may stumble onto this blog, cause I haven't mentioned them yet, here's a bit on my family. I grew up in a small town called Pembroke, it's sorta close to Ottawa On. My parents still live there. I have two older sisters. Sandra who is 9 years older than me, and Stacy who is 6 years older than me.

Well that's all for now.

Super Deals!

Greetings friends,

Firstly, sorry to Wes for not mentioning him. Same for Lynzy & Kevin. Although, I did say "if I forgot anyone, I'm sorry." One would think that that would make me excempt from friends pointing out to me that I missed their names, but I guess not. I suppose people are just that happy to be associated with me, that they need me to mention their names. (lol)

I made some fantasmic purchases lately. I picked up the new System of a Down cd, Mezmerize. Unbelieveable album. The writing is brilliant. It's their best effort to date in my opinion. And my pick for album of the year...at least until the follow-up "Hypnotize" comes out in six months. I also hit up the Value Village with my buddy Co-V. And don't knock second-hand stuff. You find wicked cool deals at second-hand shops. I picked up a pair of Doc Martin boots for only $30. I snagged a couple cool t-shirts and some jeans too. Like I said, super deals!

But I guess that does it for now with my slightly dull existance. Til next time folks

Hey People

Well, for tose of you who know me.......you know me. For those of you who don't, here's quick tutorial.

I'm a huge fan of wrestling and of comic books. I live in Windsor On. Canada with my friends Amanda and Tristen.

I'm involved with Border City Wrestling, a local wrestling promotion here. Sadly, I don't wrestle for them. I do volunteer with ring crew and set up. I'm also one of the few ring crew guys who owns a car, so I get sent on errands a bunch. I really enjoy it. I'd rather be in the wrestling school, but that takes money and it's money that I don't have. (on a side note: send any cheques to, Help Jeff Wrestle Fund, lol) I've met a lot of cool people through BCW, and also some big names in wrestling. Names like: Mick Foley, Shane Douglas, Road Dogg Jesse James, Billy Gunn, Sean Waltman aka X-Pac, Chris Sabin, Sabu, and one of my idols Raven. I'm in no way bragging about this. Most of them were just a quick "Hey how's it goin?" Although, I did talk with X-Pac and Sabu a bit. My faveorite wrestler is Chris Jericho. I'd love to meet him at some point and ask him some questions about the business.

As for Comics, I'm really into Batman right now. I was always a fan of the animated series', but I never collected Batman comics til a few months ago. Although, when I was a kid, the very first comic I ever got was a Batman comic. I never got another one mind you til, as I said, a few months ago. I like Amazing Spider-Man too. But I think Batman's a better character. I'm a huge Punisher fan also. Which is sort of funny cause I'm not a fan of war movies or mob stuff. But I like the Punisher. Meh.

I suppose that's it. Although, so she doesn't get mad at me any further, I suppose I should mention my friend Sami. She was disappointed that she wasn't named. So there ya go Sam! Hope you're happy. Now all my other friends who read this will be mad that I didn't name them........

Adam, Chazy, Cannibal, Pudge, Holler, Shorty, Co-V, Rage, Piz (Danny), Alin, Timebomb, PaulJeff, Joe, Courtney, Val, Dan, Jake (best match ever), Eddie, Kevin, Trey, Shanna, and anyone else that I may have forgotten.

Peace
